We matched on Tinder and I said I would go out with him because I knew his sister, therefore I knew he wasn't a serial killer. Rupe took me to dinner and we hit it off instantly. We joked that we could write a book on first dates because of how well it went. We went to church together the next day and he played golf with my dad later on that week. We fell hard for eachother, fast.

Rupe surprised me with Parachute tickets for Valentines Day. Two months later it was time for the concert. Rupe asked me to go to a lake nearby so that we could Eno before going to dinner and the concert. I thought it was a little strange that he wanted to Eno, considering it was pretty cold out and both of us usually like to be cuddled up inside on cold days, but he was prepared with a blanket. We were having great conversation and he asked if I wanted to go get coffee. We packed up the Eno, I was walking in front of him and he wasn't catching up to me so I turned around to check on him. There he was - handsome as ever, on one knee asking me to spend my life with him as his wife. It was the easiest yes I have ever said. Afterwards we went to my favorite restaurant, where both of our families were waiting to congratulate us. And to top it all off, we ended the night with the Parachute concert, which of course was incredible.

Rupe and I are all about family and from the very beginning of planning, we knew we wanted a day that brought our family and closest friends together. We knew we wanted the love we have for Christ and the love we have for each other to be at the forefront of our wedding day. Our first step in creating our wedding day was choosing a venue that would represent these values and embrace our style. Choosing Big Spring Farm as our venue is what really set the tone for our wedding. We knew we wanted a barn style wedding, one that was rustic enough but still well manicured. We felt that our venue represented our styles well in that it was very simple and did not need a lot added to it for it to be beautiful. Without a doubt, our vendors are what allowed our wedding to be exactly what we envisioned. The vendors we choose went to every length to execute the visions I had shared with them and made our day absolutely perfect.

We knew that we did not want a whole ton of decorations, but we wanted to bring in a lot of flowers to enhance the venue. Our florist was incredible! I showed her so many pictures of flower arrangements that I liked and she created my bouquet, the centerpieces, arbor flowers, and aisle flowers, exactly how I had described.

Our day of coordinator absolutely understood how we wanted our timeline to flow and where we wanted our smallest of decorations to be. She found a place for everything and was able to make sure everything flowed how we had asked. I could go on and on about our incredible vendors!!!

Getting ready with my bridesmaids was one of my favorite parts of the day. It was so nice to get ready all together at the wedding site, without the stress of traveling or having to put last minute decorations together.

Don't stress! Your wedding day is only one day and it really does only feel like five minutes! Don't sweat the small details. People will remember the love that they saw between you and your soon-to-be spouse, but they won't remember what your napkins looked like. Plan your wedding timeline to focus on what matters most to you that day, if you don't love dancing - don't plan for two hours of dancing during your reception time. The BEST thing I did was hire a day of coordinator. She took all the stress out of setting up and coordinator with all of our vendors on the day of the wedding, I literally did not have to lift a finger!
